When it Rains it Pours...Flooding at Kent Farm

This weekend we experienced the most rain we have ever seen come down in a single day.  Truly crazy...We will see what tomorrow brings as the Shenandoah was high before the rainfall, so we may experience massive flooding.  The garden has lost a bunch of soil, but the plants are intact.  The drive way is trashed!  While the lower field below the pond has turned into a lake.  Oh the joys of natures.

Pond...1st flood.

Water ripping violently tearing apart the overflow...creating new creek in lower field.

Lower field.

Small creek trail up to Peter and Anne's.

Tons of little creeks and waterfall created from the enormous amount of rain.

Field of bluebells, unaffected by the storm.

2nd flooding of  pond.

River Road below new creek from lower field.
