Sweet Dreams...

Chapin sound asleep with Lizard keeping his hand nice and warm.  He has been sleeping really well these day since school start.  Peace out little man!

Fun...

A fun little project that I had been thinking of came to being this week.  Never much liked the white dishwasher after the cabinets were painted black a few years back...So was interested in painting the white section on the washer.  Then the idea of chalkboard paint became an idea.  So there you go!  Finished and it looks fabulous.

Idea...On top we will have some words or message that we are working with and then on the bottom Chapin can have fun drawing his trucks and such.  So far so good, as we are enjoying this addition to Kent Farm!

Enjoying just a bit more of summer...

Day one of the Labor Day weekend we decided to hit the Potomac River near Harpers Ferry with the inflatable kayaks.  Even at relatively low water there are a few waves to play on.  Surfing was made easy with Chapin up front to flex the bow down into the wave, and you can see I didn't need much of a 'high performance' posture with my legs out the side of the boat!  Chapin had a great time with the whitewater, and the ice cream stop in Harpers Ferry on the way past was enjoyed by all!
