Hello Wisco and Grandma...

"When do we get to see Grandma."  This is heard everyday and it is always, so genuine and with such kindness.  Chapin love his Grandma Robin.  Their time together always touchs both of them with such deep love and caring.
And now we hear everyday "I miss Kira.":  Kira is Chapin's gal pal and handles his personality so well.  They were blessed to see each other for almost three weeks this summer and loved every minute together.  Now really!  We can count only two solid melt downs between the two, which is down right amazing!  Thank you Kira for your sharing, caring and kindness...You are the best.

And now for the boat slips.   This is where we spend our time when we visit Wisconsin...It is where I grew up waterskiing and playing all day in Lake Menomin.  This is my happy spot!  When I think of the "slips" I am happy.  Such a great experience that we now get to share with our kids.  It is funny place, for those who are not sure about it.   Basically, it is a line of garages that people store their boats in and can wench the boat in and out of the water.  Our family is lucky to have two slips...One for the ski boat and one for us to chill out in.  Our chillin' spot has a frig, lockers for the skis, table and chairs, etc.  It is like ruffing it a bit for there is no running water.  We grill our meals and pre-make other dishes for supper.  Now with cell phone we can actually order a pizza if we don't feel like cook.
Oh joy...What a great place!
More fun is also had at the Menomonie Water Park.  It is ran by Parks and Rec, which makes it pretty darn afforable.  Chapin loved the slide.  Both him and Kira loved jumping of the side of the pool and then working on their swimming skills.
Oh boy to live in town where the roads are paved.  I believe that would be a big wish of Chapin's just so he could get to ride a bike.  But when we go to Grandma's he plays catchup and rode, rode, rode....Ride like the wind my son, ride!!!
And for night time...Kira is the best book reader!  Thanks family for making the trip happen.  We think of you daily and love you so very much.
