The Best Figs Ever...

Who would think this thing dies down to the ground every winter?  This year, while everything else suffered through the heat and drought, the fig tree thrived producing dozens of sweet figs.  In a typical year the tree will produce about a dozen figs in mid to late October with many being taken out by the first frost.  This year we've been eating Virginia Figs since August, and the harvest continues....
No need to import figs from Greece when we have our own Beautiful Virginia Figs!
