What a beatiful night for cross country skiing. It was Chapin's first go at it...He did awesome. That boy has some good nordic roots in him and it showed. Thankfully we had a friend that gave us all their sons old cross country ski gear. He will be set up for some time and now we can think about taking an advanture over to WV for a day of cross country. Oh what the snowy outdoors has to offer. Thank you, thank you, thank you Ullr! We love you and will take as much as you want to give us.

Finally Snow...
It seems that it has been the winter of miss predictions with snow in the forecast and nothing accumulating. Yesterday, thankfully, that changed. We received maybe 10 inches, but it was super duper heavy stuff. We thought if it was light snow we may have had a couple feet!
Jon stayed home in the morning to dig us out...What a man! Again, thankfully, we have the tractor to help. Chapin enjoyed the snow till he was soaked threw and threw. What a great excuse to play alllllllll day long.

Happy New Year...
Our New Years morning was spent with Chapin riding his bike. Now at Thanksgiving he road for a spell by himself with his father running behind grabbing on to the Balance Buddy, but today was a day of truly riding all by himself...And riding pretty darn well and pretty darn fast! Watch Out! He did not even realized that he was doing it until he watched the video after his 1st go at it. Pretty cool. We are proud proud parents...Filled with joy on seeing Chapin succeed and seeing Chapin really having fun!
