Fabulous idea taken from Pottery Barn.  Jon did a wonderful job creating the base and finishing off the new, wonderful light fixture.  I call it cheap art and we all think it is pretty cool!  Fun to be creative.  Bonus points, if it breaks it is really easy to replace.

Kent Farm - On the Rocks Tree/Camping Fort

 

 

 

All in a days work.   The boys set out to create a special spot for Chapin over a weekend. Chapin wished for tree fort.  This is semi-tree fort with the option to expand.  It hangs perched over some beautiful rocks in the backyard.  All are thrilled with it.  Especially James as he visited the boys three times during their 1st overnight camping trip.  Not much sleep was had!

Chapin really is embracing T-ball this year. I do believe it helps to have a great coach and team.  He has learned so much and really is growing his skills.  Look at him running and smiling! 

Spring Break...CT Bound

 

 

 

We had the opportunity to head to Connecticut to spend time with the Abuelo's with a quick overnight with our friends in Jersey City for spring break.  Jon buddy Eric helped replaced his bike that was trashed in the accident with a Specialized Roubaix.  He is very very please to have a bike back in his life. 

We had a lovely time, with Jeanne and Bill and the opportunity to go to two museums and some lovely park time.  Fun was had by all.  Jon needed to depart early to get back to work.  Chapin I and I stayed on and took the train home to DC on Thursday.  Chapin was beside himself with excitement.

Houston we have a problem...

So first of all, let me apologize for not updating the blog lately.  There is a reason and it just came to me today.  I have been trying to upload pictures for about two weeks...Continually getting errors or not being able to upload pictures.  It has been frustrating and frankly I haven't had the time to really explore it. 

Well today a new error came about that thankfully had some explanation to it.  I have reached my capacity of memory in google pictures.  I guess the blog is link with this and google pics stores all the blog pictures in this cyper space spot.  So, I need to delete some non-blog pictures and then maybe purchase more memory space.
